Telescope!!!

0 min read
Finally was able to afford my childhood dream of owning a real telescope! :D My birthday is coming up so I went out and got myself, from what I've read, a good starter telescope for deep space stuff. I got the Sky-watcher 130/650. Just hope I can get some good photos with it :)

New camera!

0 min read
Finally got money to buy a new camera. I found a Nikon D3100 in a store, which was in my price range, and was all happy llamapanda. Then I found out I could choose to get a Tamron 18-200mm objective instead of Nikons own 18-55mm for the same price and I just had to have it. I've been using it for a few days now and it is working beautifully. Will be able to take much better photos now over what I could with my old Fuji finepix S9500.

First entry

0 min read
So I finally got around to becoming a deviant. The first photos that I want to share are some of my aurora photos. Had to walk through a pitch black forest, and I mean black as in you couldn't see your hand in front of you, for half an hour to get to a good spot to take these photos. But damn it was worth it. When I got there the sky showed of its beauty, the aurora exploded around me for almost 3 hours. A lot of the time I just had to lay down and just enjoy it. Freezing -7c but still awesome. - Markus J.R. Langseth
